Meet the Team
This is the entire team at 1955 Design. Yup. The full team. No substitutes available. The good news is that neither of us ever takes a day off.

David Zemens
Web Developer
Web designer. Lover of all things WordPress. Semi-professional dog walker. Recovering iPhone addict. Husband to a wonderful wife. Grandfather to three delightful grandchildren. Not necessarily in that order.
My name is David Zemens, and I am 1955 Design. When you work with 1955 Design you can be assured of one thing – consistency. I own the business and design the websites. You deal directly with me, and I work hard and smart to gain your trust while I develop a beautiful, standards compliant and accessible website for your business or personal use. Every aspect of your new website will be completed by me, including the beautiful front end design and the boring back end coding.
I’m pretty much the Chief Cook & Bottle Washer. For those of you who are not familiar with this terminology, Wikipedia defines Chief Cook & Bottle Washer quite accurately.

Maggie
Director of Exercise Motivation & Facility Security
Maggie is originally from Guersney County, Ohio. She found her way to Michigan in the spring of 2011 and began working at 1955 Design later that summer. Despite her Ohio roots, Maggie is not and never has been a fan of The Ohio State University. Just saying.
While initially charged with maintaining all aspects of facility security, Maggie proved herself to be an asset to the company and was appointed to her dual role in January of 2012. As Director of Exercise Motivation she is now in charge of spearheading a structured exercise program for all employees. These programs typically involve long walks in the downtown Rochester area that often carryover into extended treks on both the Clinton River Trail and Paint Creek Trail.
