I have been shopping for a cost effective e-commerce solution and stumbled on ECWID. Wow. There’s some features I would like added, but on first look it’s pretty much got it all from multiple payment gateways to inventory management to a drag-and-drop shopping cart. Very neat package and ridiculously easy to implement.

Although I read your reasoning for not making HTML edits available, and respect the rationale, I still would like to have the ability to modify the HTML code for my individual installations. Any plans for this in the future?

1. In order to make a perfect product, we should listen to our users carefully to be aware of problems they have and features are they waiting for. Maybe they have some questions and don’t know who to ask them.
I call it “pro-active” support. We don’t want to wait till a customer asks us to fix an issue. If we see an issue or a question, we do the first step : -)
2. Do you mean the HTML code of the Ecwid store? Can you post a link where it was discussed?
