Wow. That’s pretty much all I can think to say. Wow. The federal government, through its arm called the United States Postal Service, is about to introduce street mail boxes designed and fashioned after the R2D2 character from the Star Wars movie. Wow.
I was unable to find any substantiation of this at any USPS or other government website, but it is being widely reported on the Internet and it seems just stupid enough that it is undoubtedly true. Plus, if you do a Whois search on the domain name of uspsjedimaster.com, which is prominently displayed on the front of the mailboxes in this photo, you will see that the domain name is in fact registered to the US Postal Service. To me that’s a confirming indication that this ridiculousness is about to occur.
Complete: I just completed a very small project for a new friend of mine over at Table4Five.net. The project involved adding a little bit of PHP code to the sidebar widget features of that site. The purpose of this code is to either display or limit the display of certain advertisements on the sidebar based upon a set of criteria about each particular post being displayed.
While working on this PHP module, I had occassion to read several of the posts and found Elizabeth’s writing style to be interesting and unique. If you get a chance, stop on over at Table4Five.net and give it a read.

I have just completed my first WordPress theme that I am willing to release to the public.
The theme is a two-column, business like theme with plenty of white space. I think that it looks quite professional and is best suited for websites that are after that type of look. The theme is valid CSS and XHTML strict. It is also Section 508 accessible. It’s not perfect, but for someone fairly new to WordPress I am quite proud of how it turned out.
